The stage is all set for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Star Sports will reveal the full list of English and Hindi commentators and presenters on June 8, ahead of the opening of the tournament starting on June 12.
The first match of the elite competition will be played between the host nation, England and Sri Lanka at Edgbaston. India will start its campaign against its arch-rival Pakistan on June 14 in Birmingham. Cricketers from all 12 teams as well as commentators and presenters will be present to keep the excitement going throughout the tournament.
Nasser Hussain, Ian Bishop, Ian Smith, Mithali Raj, Anjum Chopra, Mel Jones, Simon Doull, Veda Krishnamurthy and many other former cricketers will be the voices of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Ahead of the tournament, former India captain Mithali Raj said that the 12-team T20 World Cup is going to be remarkable as there are a lot of quality players in the camps, who will create moments through their performances.
“The depth of talent across the 12 competing teams is remarkable. Everywhere you look, there are world-class players capable of creating moments that can define a tournament, and I can’t wait to share those moments with the world.” Mithali Raj said.
Ian Bishop, who is among the fans’ favorite commentators, has vowed to continue his story about the players who have qualified for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Through the players’ back stories, Bishop will aim to inspire emerging cricketers through his critical inputs and in-depth narratives.
