Sanju Samson is once again back in the playing eleven as the Indian team management has dropped Vaibhav Suryavanshi from the squad for the fifth match of the 5-match T20 series against England in Southampton tonight.
IIt was expected that Suryavanshi would also be seen in tonight’s match, but the management has a different thinking. Vaibhav joined the playing eleven as a replacement for Sanju Samson, who was struggling with his form.

The boy’s surprise was shattered after being dropped as he had a great IPL season with Rajasthan Royals (RR). He finished as the leading run-scorer in the tournament, winning the Orange Cap with 776 runs to his name and also won the Most Valuable Player award (MVP).
Vaibhav Suryavanshi out, Sanju Samson in
15 year oldThe D batsman came into the team with a lot of promise, but failed to showcase his true potential in the last three matches. Since he did not live up to the standards, the team management dropped him and Sanju rejoined the team.
In his first three matches for the India national cricket team in the format, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 14, 13 and 15 in his first, second and third matches respectively.

The southpaw showed some glimpses of his talent, dispatching bowlers to boundaries, but could not convert Geet’s momentum into the innings. Of the three dismissals, the southpaw was out twice in two consecutive matches to short-pitched deliveries from Jofra Archer.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi had performed disappointingly in the last three matches.
In his first match, the young batsman was dismissed by spinner Will Jacques. Sanju Samson, on the other hand, will try to grab the opportunity with both hands as he looks to secure his place in the playing eleven.
Team India captain Shreyas Iyer informed about the change at the time of toss. India made one more change to their playing eleven with Suryansh Shedge replacing Washington Sundar. Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer again won the toss and this time he decided to bowl first.
In the previous match, India came out to bat first at Trent Bridge and managed to score 158 runs with the help of Iyer’s unbeaten 80 runs. England won the match easily with 9 wickets and 37 balls remaining.

Lol…there are thousands of pages blaming Vaibhav Suryavanshi for the team’s failure and series loss…especially those people from Yadav community…just because he is Rajput

Is it the right decision to drop Vaibhav Suryavanshi after three games? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/GUdkcUFYxZ

Were you hasty in giving Vaibhav Suryavanshi a chance to make his India debut or were you hasty in dropping him after just three matches? Either way, the Indian think-tank has not done itself proud by handling a 15-year-old.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi should take some tips from Harry Brooks.
