From 137 to 166, Rajasthan Royals (RR) batsmen Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel needed only one over to increase the run rate. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) fast bowler Mayank Yadav gave 29 runs in 12.th Second innings over 64th IPL 2026 match.
RR’s batting pair played havoc with the LSG pacer. Mayank Dhruv was in front of Jurel on the first three balls of the over, who welcomed the fast bowler with a four and then hit two consecutive sixes.

The pair of Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel easily scored 29 runs in one over.
On the fourth ball of the over, the batsmen took a run, and dangerous batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is arguably the best hitter in this format, sent the bowler for two more maximums in the remaining two balls.
Thus, with four sixes, a four and a single, Dhruv Jurel and Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored twenty-nine runs in a single over at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
RR batsmen were brilliant against LSG bowlers
This is a must-win match for Rajasthan Royals and they are on their way to get two important points from the match against Lucknow Super Giants. Before the match, RR’s track record at their home ground in Jaipur was not good. Additionally, for this do-or-die match, they did not get the services of their captain Ryan Parag and Ravindra Jadeja. Due to injury both of them could not play tonight’s game.

Without these two stars on the field, Rajasthan performed very well with their batting while chasing the mammoth target of 221 runs in 20 overs. On the batting-friendly surface of the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, batsmen from both sides enjoyed their time toying with the opposition bowlers.
Star of the match Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Two centuries may also be scored in this match. In the first innings of the match, it was Lucknow Super Giants opener Mitchell Marsh who missed his century by only 4 runs, and in the second innings, it was RR opener, 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who missed his century by only 7 runs.
However, the talented teenager did his job well before returning to the pavilion. That over against Mayank Yadav was a crucial point during the chase. From that over, LSG lost all hopes of making a comeback.
