The man held David’s hand and extended the phone towards him for a selfie. The sudden contact unsettled David, but he handled the situation calmly by picking up the phone briefly before returning it without taking a photo.
David then safely got into his vehicle. The incident went viral on social media, sparking discussion about safety concerns and fan behavior. Earlier, Ishan Kishan also had to face a similar situation when a fan forcibly tried to take a selfie at the airport terminal.

Tim David eyes comeback after recent decline
